Thanks milk!
Ill read those over the next couple days!

Hopefully I can pull somethin' off that gets me a Top 5 someday. O.O

(:

There are some great tutorials that will help give you a unique touch to songs that's for sure.

I don't like trance music but this definitely applies to pretty much any 21st century digital musician, thanks for the tips. =]

Not all labels are like this. Bigger ones in the states like Warner bros. work a tad different then smaller owned labels.

I started reading one of the links. Really helpful info. I'm gonna have to book mark this though and read up more later. I have class work to do :C

Seriously though, this information couldn't have come at a better time.

I've been thinking lately about labels and I figured when people asked I could just point this to them from now on.

Great guide, and quite useful for me considering I'm hoping to submit something to a label in the near future. I'll be reading some of those articles you linked to now, thanks for this. :D

Cheers :D

Yes, that is true.
This may not have much to do with the topic at hand, but I once read that a good option for anyone who is starting their career is to look after creating and mantaining their own small independent label. And that came from a very, very experienced and intelligent guitarist.

That's true now and days with digital release. You maintain 100% revenue but some stores no longer accept small labels. Beatsource I believe (a popular electronic store) no longer accepts small labels. If you are to release with a well known label your chances to sell a track are much higher.

dude look at you thinking your a pro, im sorry but you suck asss

sorry i dont speak english

Excellent, excellent post. Hope it helps you, too; hope to hear you on the airwaves, no? ;)

I hoping this song I'm currently working on will get some attention. If not newgrounds gets it.

Nice list of resources here!! You are awesome for compiling this, dude.
